If they sucessfully develop water fuel, the middle east will meet its end.
It will take quite a long time for this technology to become pervasive. Just as it's still going to take quite some time before all the known oil reserves in the world are depleted. But one thing's for sure, the current oil age we are living in now, is slowly but surely, coming to an end. We just might hit mass hysterical panic come 2020.
