A Car With No Strings Attached

I want a car.
But I don’t want to pay for it.
I don’t want to pay for its downpayment.
I don’t want to pay for its instalment payments.
I don’t want to pay for its road tax.
I don’t want to pay for its motor insurance.
I don’t want to pay for its petrol.
I don’t want to pay for its season parking.
I don’t want to pay for its coupon parking.
I don’t want to pay for the parking fines and summons issued to it.

The Chery QQ (Made in China)

looks suspiciously like the Chevrolet Spark (Made in Korea),

which evolved from Daewoo D'Arts.

Chery QQ has overtaken Chevrolet Spark to launch in Singapore.

Why do people still want to get caught up in traffic jams

driving to work every morning when it’s faster to take the MRT?

Perhaps cos cars can go to places where the trains and buses dont and it is always there for you to hop on anytime, anywhere. :)

"A car with no strings attached" would be the taxi or mrt train.

Here in our little island, the car is more of a burden. The cool big cars of status are beyond many, while the small cars may be affordable to some, they look fragile and unsafe in a pile-up accident.

The MRT can't reach remote place. It is slower as compared to cars.

The taxi had became more expensive.

Only thing that went down is the car COE.

Looks like car is a better choice, can go anywhere you want.

QQ is copied version of that Korea Spark.

Why they always copied here and there? To save cost?

No wonder their cars are no match to Japanese Honda and Toyota.

To Paddy: Yeah. Cars can go anywhere and any time of the day ;) Ideal for businessmen, property agents, insurance agents, etc. :)

To Fantasy Flier: No car beats a flying DeLorean :)

To Joepsc: Better not to drive if one can't afford all the expenses that come along with a car. Car very convenient but also very burdensome ;p

To Lao Xing Zhou: Let's not forget about petrol. It's getting more and more expensive. So the solution is get either Toyota Prius or Honda Civic Hybrid :) Those who can't lead will always resort to following in the rear ;p

And don't forget about Kia Picanto. ^_^

Petrol price is expensive but driving in cars like Picanto, QQ and Prius, is still cheaper if compared to MPVs, SUVs and giant sedan cars.

To Lao Xing Zhou: Agreed. Can save much more on petrol when driving a Picanto :) But it's also a very slow car, always gets overtaken by Toyota Vios and Toyota Corolla Altis ;p

To AceOne: Thanks for dropping by. I find the LRT and MRT systems in KL are an easy breeze to travel on :) Much better than developed than Bangkok's one, that's for sure :) I bet drivers from Singapore would sure get "bullied" terribly by those in Bangkok and KL ;p

To See Fei: Your analyst friend is smart. He doesn't have to put up with hassle of driving to work every morning :) Huh? Kena tagged? Can don't do or not? ;p
