Henderson Waves & Alexandra Arch
Blue sky, white clouds.
Went to Henderson Waves on Monday afternoon. Parked my car at Mount Faber and started walking. The signs were not very helpful. In fact, I was misled by one. I followed one sign that pointed towards Henderson Waves and ended up going down the staircase to Telok Blangah Way instead. So I had to walk to Henderson Road and climbed up the hill that led towards Henderson Waves.
Henderson Waves is a woody experience whereas the tree-top walk to Alexandra Arch is a metallic one.

I've only seen the bridge thing (last pic) - looks like I need to explore the area more :)
To LIS: You must try it sometime. It's fun walking thru the trees high above the ground :)
I think my legs will fall off if I tried to walk the whole route like you did. I'm absolutely totally unfit.
Wow! That's a lot of distance you covered. Amazing and lovely sights. Thanks for sharing your walk path - I enjoyed it very much.
Oh, and I'm happy to report that it's pouring right now. Hopefully, the air should be much clearer after this heavy downpour.
You can come over to KL now and do the mega sale. LOL!

To LIS: It's really no big deal. Just do it at a pace you're comfortable with. For starters, you can try Henderson Waves. You can park at the free shady car park at Telok Blagah Green and then walk to this bridge in the direction of Mount Faber. The bridge itself takes only 10 minutes or less to cross :)
To HS: I hope the haze over KL clears up too :) If i have a 2 liter or 3 liter fast car, i would drive up to KL for fun more often :)
MB, no need fast car wan, any car will reach KL. It's only a 4-5hr drive. Besides, going slow would ensure you don't get a speed-ticket. It really is the right time now to come up to KL. CNY-shopping at the mega sale!
wow u finished the whole trip. i havent managed yet so far after 2 tries.... thanks for posting all the photo!!
To HS: It's only August and you guys are doing CNY shopping for next year? ;p
To SF: It's no big deal actually, at least it's not as long as the walk i took to walk the trail around MacRitchie Reservoir from the HSBC Treetop Walk off Venus Road. That one took me around 1 to 2 hours if i recall correclty :p
Afterall, i only walked briskly. i wasn't running or anything like that.
