Can't Sleep In Peace
This past weekend, was not able to take afternoon nap because of the fighter jets’ flyby.
Paya Lebar Airbase had an open house.
The F-5E and F-16 fighters made hell lot of noise.
It’s a hell of a thing to make tons of money by being a fighter pilot and being a pain in the ass of a lot of people. Okay, maybe not ass but ears.

That's probably one of the cons of living in an island state. Ear plugs must be selling well. ;p
To HS: Having to put up with noise generated by fighter jets almost everyday is definitely one of the cons of living in a place like Singapore. But we only use ear-plugs in noisy places like factories and firing range.
So far, i've not heard of people using ear plugs to drown out the sounds of fighter jets :p
Well... it really helps. My folks used to live near Tengah Air Base. I used earplugs ALOT! LOL!
To LIS: So far i've only used ear plugs when i was working in a noisy factory and to sleep beside my snoring wife :p
prolonged exposure to loud noise can lead to hearing loss. Its a pity. the living space here is so tiny. Now there is also this grand prix thing that would go vroom vroom in our ears!
To LM: I don't mind the grand prix thing. I think the thrunderous roar of the F1 car engines sounds melodious ;) Anyway, F1 racing only happens on a few nights in a year. Whearas fighter planes fly over our heads all year long :p
