Crank SMS Phone Call

This morning at around 6am plus, I received a phone call which was a message read out from an SMS sent from a handphone.

The message read out by the SingTel server was in Chinese (I didn’t know their server was capable of reading Chinese SMSes).

It was both a crank and prank SMS phone call.

The message was talking about a meeting to be held later in the day concerning how to get laid and all that crap.

Many years ago, I received a phone call from another bugger at around 5am in the morning. Disrupted my sleep early in the morning for nothing. It turned out to be a case of wrong number as the caller spoke in Malay and asked for a Malay lady. My phone number was a recycled one. Back then I had caller ID. So I took revenge by calling the same bugger at 5am the following morning and hung up on him.

Too bad this morning I didn’t take down the handphone number of the bugger who SMS-phoned me the lewd message. Otherwise I would have sent him an SMS with the 4-letter word to give him a piece of my mind.

I hear you friend.

I'm also receiving calls on my mobile phone at 3am in the morning. But since I leave the phone in the living room, I can't hear it in the bed room. After checking it out, the callers are from the airport cargo centre. Apparently, one of their colleague's phone number is one digit away from mine, and they have fat fingers, so I keep getting calls from them. After repeatedly telling them not to call my number anymore, and still getting calls from them, I complained to Singtel. Singtel issued them a nuisance call warning and it all stopped after that...

But... what about receiving nuisance SMSes from people you actually know? I've been getting nuisance SMSes from a guy at work who's having strange thoughts about me. If I were to complain to HR, he'd get fired for sure. Gee...

To LIS: Sounds like a stupid jerk to me. He jolly well knows that you're already married with a kid and yet still wants to be funny with you. If you don't want to put up with this kind of crap from him anymore, you really ought to tell HR on him and get him fired for goodness' sake :p

Problem is: He might continue to send you horny SMSes even after he gets fired :p Only solution to such a problem is to change handphone number and hope nobody who knows your new number would give it to him :p
