Cutting Your Nails

When I was in primary school. Our class monitor would check on our nails during the school assembly every Monday morning to ensure everyone in our class had cut our nails. Those who did not cut their nails would be reported to the discipline master. Not sure if such stuff still goes on in primary schools today. The reasoning is simple enough. If your nails were long, they would be more likely to trap dirt. If they trapped dirt, you would be more likely to get diarrhoea or fall sick from eating stuff from your hands.

What punishment did we get for forgetting to cut our nails? Our discipline master told us to go wash our hands.

During school fights, nails, especially long ones, can be used for scratching people until they bleed.

We have to cut our nails so that we can play the guitar,

the piano

and type away at the computer keyboard.

It's hard to do all the above stuff with long nails like these.

New routine: Cut nails every Sunday night. Can't type fast properly with long nails. Hindrance.

I hate boys with long finger nails, very ugly and gay.

Beside, it traps bacteria and other harmful waste.

There are men who keep long nail at their little finger, and use it to pick their nose and ears..how disgusting?? And they are not shy at all, even when others are looking!

There are men who dig their noses even though they don't have any long nails. Need to dig nose because it's very uncomfortable to let the booger stay stuck in the nose ;p

If they want to dig nose or ears, at least they should dig it with a tissue but not with fingers.

To Lao Xing Zhou: Sorry pal for "copycatting" your blog template. Ha, ha, ha...! :D I took this photo from Benjamin Sheares Bridge way back in the early 1990s, over 10 years ago ;p It's a double exposure, i used a 300mm lens to zoom in on and shoot the moon, then changed to a 35mm lens to shoot the skyline.

How can you dig your nose with tissue papaer? It's so weak and filmsy, unlike your finger or nail. Perhaps you would like demonstrate it on video and upload it onto www.youtube.com. Ha, ha, ha...! :D Just kidding :)

Interchangable Lens? DSLR?

If you mentioned "change lens" means you are using DSLR.

Singapore Skyline, at that time, was still unattractive.

After the IR completion, it will be the whole futuristic look.

To Lao Xing Zhou: I was at the Comex at Expo yesterday. Very crowded. A Ranger 11-megapixel digital camera was selling for just $99. But of course, its shutter speed was slow and its shots were blur. I would buy a lot of these digital toys if i run a factory that prints dollar notes.

To See Fei: Agreed! Long nails hinder doing a lot of stuff save scratching other people's faces and digging your own nose ;p Yes, i did use a starburst filter :)

To Horny Bitch: I bet you keep long nails to scratch faces and other body parts of guys who offend you ;p
