Why is it that such a sign can still be seen in China today?

Western influences, brought the downfall to humans' moral values.
To Lao Xing Zhou: Ironically, the ang-mohs might have brought racism to China when the Brits colonised mainland China. But today, it's the mainland Chinese who are generally more barbaric than the seow ang-moh in UK, USA and Australia.
Chinese are not that barbaric as compared to the Americans.
i guess in every country, there will always be barbarians.
Being barbaric is really subjective. In whose context are we looking at it from? Just like being cultured, which culture is the yardstick? Western? Eastern? Some remote native's?
That sign could have been there as a joke. In this day and time, such things shouldn't exist. Eye-opening, Mick.
