Hafei Lobo
Hafei, a China car manufacturer, recently launched the Hafei Lobo
in Singapore.
Lobo actually means Road Treasure Lu Bao 路宝. But for Singapore where many of us understand Malay, lobo means idle.
When we were in army, we always call the buggers who likes to malinger, "Lobo king".
A case of insufficient market research.

The market researcher probably looks into formal language but not slang!
Cheap or not?
Good or not?
Coming to america or not?
To Joepsc: Yeah indeed. The market researcher probably did not look into what lobo meant in Malay.
To Fantasy "stick" flier: It costs around S$38k. Designed by Pininfarina. Only 1.1L, not very suitable for roads in America which stretch into the horizon heh?
this was my first thought too when i saw the name! haha
To Leonard: Alright. Gimme a five pal :D
I rather choose Picanto than the Lobo.
Actually Lobo is not a bad car. It's quite well-designed, since its design was done by Pininfarina.
Hehehe, how about this:
