Credit Card Telemarketers
Do you constantly receive calls from telemarketers asking you to apply for credit cards? How do you shake them off? Just tell them you don't qualify loh. If you make more than $30k a year, then you would be lying. If you do qualify, just tell them you're not interested loh.

Easy just say "Sorry I'm not interested (put down the phone) "
The problem is: Sometimes these telemarketers just go yakking away non-stop before you can say, "Sorry. I'm not interested."
If i encounter such yakkers. I just let them yak all they want while i put my phone away as i think hanging up on them is a tad too nasty :p

Sometimes It's better to do that otherwise you waste your time listening all those crap.
To Smarty Pants: It certainly is a waste of time listening to all those crap. Being a telemarketer sure as hell is a dirty job :p
it can be quite headache to answer such calls...
all these calls made my wallet so fat and heavy! duh! :(
To Leonard: Oh man! You must have tons of credit cards! :D Ha, ha, ha...! :D
Just say you're really interested but ask if they will do credit check as you defaulted payments on 5 other credit cards. Ask about balance transfer limit at the same time ;o)
To Sunshine: When you submit your current payslip, they would know straight away if u qualify for a credit card or not :)
No point for me to get them to do credit check for me when i don't even qualify for it in the 1st place :)

There is a lower limit that tells if you qualify...and a "higher limit" that tells you don't because you are too wealthy to need one ;)
To Joepsc: I didn't know there is a "higher limit". All along i thought there is no limit. Afterall, there isn't such thing as being too wealthy, is there? It would be very weird if the likes of the super rich like Carlos Slim and Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are told they are overqualified to have credit cards. Super or Ultra Platinum ones can always be created for them :p
