To a better place?
Temporarily to a place that is more convenient, peaceful and quiet.
If you had 5 years ago bro, you must have made a sum now :)
That's the good thing about property compared to car. A property appreciates while a car depreciates :)

i moved from a 2nd floor flat at a block in Sengkang next to TPE to a 9th floor unit in Kembangan.
If you've ever stayed beside an expressway before, you would know how noisy it can be.
When people talk to you, you can't hear them.

Hmm I know where it is. It's somewhere near the landed house and near the Kembangan MRT station and Condominium.

No need to say beside expressway mine is near to highway and further more 2nd floor which i hate it (12am noise are from drunken or noisy people who shout for fun).
To Smarty Pants: I've had my fair share of people who make tons of noise at the void deck in the wee hours of the morning too. Then there are also drivers who park at the loading bay just below my window, their noisy diesel engines also either keep me awake or wake me from my sleep. Not forgetting those bikers with their noisy motorcycles and scooters too. It sure is very crappy staying on the 2nd floor :(
