Construction of the viaduct that connects Tampines Avenue 10 and Bartley Road has been "suspended" to facilitate the construction of the MRT Circle Line. Completion of this viaduct is expected by the 3rd quarter of 2009.

One of the depots of the Circle Line.

Ongoing construction of Circle Line along Upper Paya Lebar Road.

Grass in different shades of green.

Some folks wonder why tiny Singapore doesn't sink despite all the deep, deep digging that go on all over the island.

The sign below should read "NO PARKING AT ALL TIMES" instead.

To Joepsc: Thank you for your kind compliment :) The Circle Line is indeed a civil engineering feat. So is the KPE :)

Lolx I will laugh when somebody say that to me.

I hope when the circle line complete it will ease the crowd on the North& South and East&west line.

It's already a nightmare unable to get out of the train in time but it's fun pushing people out of the way when you alight from the train ( Imagine being a rugby player).

If Singapore's population ever hits 6.5m, i doubt the Circle Line would help much to ease the crowds in over-crowded Singapore :p

It may be fun to push people out of your way to exit the train, but it certainly is not fun if you're a smaller-sized person being shoved aside and hit against either a metal pole or a hard plastic partition inside the train :p To the small-sized dude, it hurts ;(

But i know there are times when you have no choice but to do some shoving to exit the train as it can get really super jam-packed and crowded.

The best way to get out of the train during the peak hour is, always stand near the door.

I guess who ever make that "No parking at all time" forget to add one more letter called 's'.

To Smarty Pants: That's precisely why the train doors are always so packed and difficult to get thru, because everyone is worried about not being able to get off in time :p

i doubt the person who made the sign forgot to add the letter "s". i think he or she probably has substandard English and thought it was alright.

the sign is printed so professionally though!

it makes me wonder if the printing companies ever dare to argue with the sign designers on the english. :)

signs in singapore will never be able to beat http://www.engrish.com/ for humour.
