ERP-FILLED SINGAPORE BY YEARS 2010 & 2015
Motorists will have to dig deep into those pockets from July 7-2008.
Five new gantries, forming a cordon along the Singapore River Line, will go live to regulate the evening traffic flow from 6 pm to 8 pm, bringing the total number of gantries to 65.
Take taxi into town, can't bear to take it all the way if paying from own pocket.

Use bicycle and convert it into a motorised bicycle. It's free some more except maintenance and petrol for the engine. =P
i think electric bike better. just need to charge the battery before and after use :) quieter and doesn't pollute the air too ;)
Haha yes but that is if you don't mind long journey due to slower speed.
Haha... sounds a little exaggerate leh, bro =)
To Mansor: Desperate times call for desperate measures: When you realise you don't have enough money for the cab fare, you may have no choice but to alight the cab before all the cab passes thru all the ERP gantries :p
To Xiao Ai: It may sound a bit exaggerated now. But at the rate by which the number of ERP gantries and the ERP amounts that are imposed, is growing, driving and taking a cab into town during ERP operation hours is certainly fast becoming more and more unbearable.
