Dog Shit

This morning, i stepped out of my car to read TODAY newspaper while waiting for my wife. I only managed to scan through the front page's headlines when i heard her getting into the car. I dumped the papers onto the backseat and got back into the driver's seat.

As i was moving the car off, she asked me:

"Yee... Lao Gong, what's that stinky smell? Did you just step on dog shit?"

I looked down onto my brake and accelerator pedals and realised i did step on dog shit.

After i reached the office, i spent over half an hour using a wet cloth to wipe the shit away. Had to wash the cloth and repeat the process four times. Managed to remove the shit, most of it anyway. But the stinky stench remains, even if it's just faintly.

Fabulous way to start the week :0 Singapore isn't as strict about cleaning up after your pets as other countries like America, which is a big pity.

To Le Raine: Big pity indeed. Laying papers for dogs to shit on is better than having to wipe the dog shit off the ground.

To Leonard: Yah. Need to keep a lookout constantly. Can't walk without looking at the ground.

To Joepsc: The spray may eliminate the stink but the shoe base would have less grip on the "greasy" pedals.

To Dukester: Making them eat is a bit too much lah. Maybe getting them to pick up the shit and smear it on their faces would be enough.
